Best of 2016

It's LCB's annual revisit of some of our video highlights of the last year! 2016 was a huge year for us, with some really exciting new clients and projects across science, government and business, as well as some of our favourites coming back for more great video content.

Science & Technology

The STEM fields are some of our absolute favourite areas to make videos for. Distilling complex ideas into easy-to-understand, concise videos is a lot of fun, and we get to learn heaps in the process. 2016 saw us talking to birdwatchers, clockmakers and scientists – endlessly fascinating stuff! Check out our videos for the CSIRO, the Australian National Maritime Museum, and Hawkesbury City Council's McGraths Hill Wetlands Effluent & Reuse Project.

Festivals, Functions, Fun

Last year we got an insight into all kinds of events, from Fairfax Media's Spectrum Now Festival and Australian Financial Review Business Summit, to our highly anticipated mini-doco on Making the Melbourne Cup for Victoria Racing Club getting its official release. Take another look with us below.

How to Use Stock Footage Right

We had a great challenge working with Advisian to portray the scope of their large-scale business, but with access to only their Sydney and Melbourne offices. Then we threw some fancy motion graphics work into the mix!

Happy Customers

It's been lovely to see so many returning clients over our second full year of business. Yamaha, You & Co, Arxxus, Fairfax Media and the Mental Health Coordinating Council have all reaffirmed the value of video to their organisations, and we look forward to working with some of our favourite clients again in 2017.

Thanks as always to our clients and crew for making such great work with us. The growing LCB team and I can't wait to see what the rest of 2017 has in store.
